I went skiing with the three most fabulous women ever today! They are kind and intelligent and independent. Great fun. I feel so priveledged to be invited. All happily married/single. All of us with kids. Great times!!! Fantastic nanny took great care so I could have a few hours. Will miss her greatly during tonsils. Husband is the shining ( Read more... ) -

My new years' resolution was to scale back on the time and energy I devote to my childrens'school. Why, then did I spend the day with three other lower school moms skiing, pick up two children not my own at school, pick up the kindergarten teacher's kid at daycare and then spend the evening fielding phone calls and emails from various committee ( Read more... ) -

Apperantly spending too much time at home as I am aquiesing to the nanny's cycle (sorry if my brothers are reading). Watching Grey's Anatomy (best show ever!!!) and I also watched Nanny McPhee today. My own personal hell
If I have a single friend left after the freaking sales tax audit, it will be a miracle. Still Alive
Haven't posted lately due to a crazy obsession with speedy bubbles- only dumber. Had a fantastic, if not hectic holiday. Got to celebrate with the fam and fam2 for the first time -was wonderful. Social commitments are almost done (for 2005 anyway). -

Just did Gideon's. Super yum. Had fun with hubby, but he's finished with me now. Shouldn't complain- he did order me a second glass of wine and wait for me to drink it without any shit. Unbelievably patient for him.
Need to go to bed. Alarm clock goes off at 5 regardless of when I set it.

my favorite child
At least once every day I look at each of the kids and think to myself "that one is my favorite". Chris just gave me his moment of the day. He called home. Not because he wanted something, not to talk to dad or Rachel, just because he remembered I asked him to check in. A major feat for a 13-year-old.
