Tuesday I went back to the orthopod.  Xrays show that the scaphoid (wrist) is healing nicely.  The ulna (arm) is just going to stay broken (I snapped off the tip and the little piece of bone is just going to float around in my wrist and hopefully eventually be resorbed by the body).  I got to trade in my cast for a splint, which is a big YAY!!!  ( Read more... )

Yay!! *SO* happy you are back on the ice (I've been wondering how you are doing). Good to hear that wrist is healing well.

Skating definitely can just suck one in... LOL.

That's GREAT news! So glad you are healing well, and most of all, that you are back on the ice! Congratulations and have a good leson Friday. Moves are a super good way to get back to where you were, too. And you ARE an ice dancer. There's no room for test snobbery. You are an ice dancer because you love it. In my opinion, being an ice dancer, or any other type of skater, is not based on which tests, or what track of tests, you pass! Thrilled for you. So glad you got to skate.

Welcome back! And dance and moves will be great while you get your feet back under you, which won't take very long.
