Another month has flown by but I'll do my best to catch up. I've been working on my free programme although it's not always consistent. I'm OK until the music comes on then it all goes to pot! I watched the Short Dance and Pairs Short programmes yesterday, and consequently I felt really keyed up full of good intentions when I set off for the rink this morning. I gave up skating 2 weeks ago. I feel bereft. Our finances won't stretch and skating was the only thing left. Hope its not for too long...........................

I couldn't wait to get my boots on and get going this morning. I hadn't realised how much I'd been holding back until now. I've said before that I felt like this year had never quite got going. Well the end of May is almost here so my monthly blog is due. And what a month its been! Most of you who read this will already know that on May 10th, up at Deeside, I finally passed my level 2 compulsory dance test. For my US friends, thats Dutch Waltz and Canasta tango. April has been a good skating month. I didn't skate much over Easter but at least I saved some money not having lessons. It made it all the more fantastic to get back to my normal routine once the kids were back at school.
