Skating in April

April has been a good skating month. I didn't skate much over Easter but at least I saved some money not having lessons. It made it all the more fantastic to get back to my normal routine once the kids were back at school. Ouch!!! Do be careful for the next few days - concussion doesn't always show up straight away, and I know one skater who didn't get it diagnosed untl a week after the fall, who was then quite badly affected by it for several weeks.

really? gosh thats a bit scary. I'm being super careful at the moment. I wouldn't drive the kids earlier just to be on the safe side and I'm on the alert for any signs. It really did make my teeth rattle though. crazy sport!

Ouch! Hope you've got away with banging your head - usually, one does, of course, but just sometimes it can go nasty and you develop concussion.

Glad you're enjoying your skating. Was so sorry not to have seen you on Monday, but I do see it was an awful long way to come to skate at 7:00 am!
