Anyway, I'm back! =)

Uhm... just question #1 for now.
The 2 portkeys (one shaped like three connected stars & one a miniature sleeping dragon) are symbols for Beauxbatons & Hogwarts, respectively. The coat of arms of Beauxbatons shows two crossed, golden wands, each emitting three stars. 'Never tickle a sleeping dragon' is Hogwarts' motto. Snape was supposed to meet some French wizard from Beauxbatons, right?

I'm a word count nazi, so... :-P It just happened that it's 1000 words exactly.

I want to tinker with this sentence though, so it probably won't stay 1000 words:

“So you,” I began slowly, “came from another planet?”

Right now I'm leaning on changing it to:

Fighting the urge to drawl, I said slowly, "So you ... came from another planet?"

That would make it 1005 words ;-)

I've been wanting to read an HP slash version of The Little Prince (I didn't want to use Google. I had a reason or something. I just forgot. -.-;) . I love that book way too much. *hearts* I haven't been able to get my hands on a French copy though. Which is sad, because I think it would be much lovelier that way, even with my struggling through practically every single word. Aha. ^^;

This story is just what I need right now. Or, maybe I don't need it at all. I just want it. I want it enough to read it, even if it's told through Snape. Not that I hate him. It's just that I hardly can get myself to read fics with him as a major character or in a major pairing. I have issues that way. Hmm. In any case, this story takes my mind off added responsibilities and such, and that's a good thing

You do know there are two more HP fanfics that touch on LP?
One is lovely_slyth's Full Spectrum (H/D)--which is the only story of Olivia that I haven't read, oddly enough.
The other one is a one-shot about Ginny (have to dig for the link)...

I haven't been able to get my hands on a French copy though. Which is sad, because I think it would be much lovelier that way, even with my struggling through practically every single word. Aha. ^^;I use the French copy (borrowed from the library) just for the chapter titles, since I don't know French. I've read the book in Mandarin and in my native language. I've struggled through a few chapters in Japanese--it's been an interesting experience
