There's always a sinking feeling when something happens to an expensive piece of audio equipment. Ye old pinion gear on the Delta 270 CD player decided to pack it in today. Apparently it's a common fault. Some dickhead at Arcam used the wrong grease (in all their players) at manufacture and hence it weakens the structure over time ( Read more... )

Why is that my Thesis is about thermal comfort and in particular there's an aspect to productivity loss for occupants above neutral temperatures. At the moment I am running at probably more than 40% reduction in productivity, it's 38.6 deg and 8% RH. Sweet, that means my predicted mean vote is 2.41 (3 is the highest, -3 is the coolest).
