Last night the did the scope in her stomach and found an ulcer, so earlier today they put in a drain for her stomach to get the blood out of there. The drain is all in and doing great. Her hemoglobin is staying good though, so she hasn't gotten any extra blood in a couple days and that is an improvement. They're doing her dialysis in 4 hrs now ( Read more... )

Thanks man. I was a bit freaked out at first because I didn't know what to expect, but I talked to my sister on the phone (she's a nurse out in Lake Tahoe). If I have any questions once it's in, I'll be sure to ask.

I actually wondered if she might have an ulcer. AIM is being a pain in my asshole but I am going to try to make sure that you are added.
