If it doesn't, another option is to say you are from some high school that is already recognized by Facebook.
Another option is to register with no network. To do this, you need to register as age 18 or older. If you have previously tried to register as age 17 or younger, Facebook will remove the option of registering with no network. To get that option back, do the following:
In Firefox, go Tools->Options...->Cookies->View Cookies then find the cookie from register.facebook.com, and delete it. If that doesn't work, Tools->Options->Cookies->Clear Cookies Now (note that this second option might delete some saved passwords).
Or, in Internet Explorer, Go to Tools->Internet Options...->General->Delete Cookies...->OK.
If you are unable to delete the cookie, try registering for Facebook from a different web browser. Once the cookie is deleted, select "None of the above" for type of network, and be sure to put your birthday as 1988
