Got the 1-6 boss down to about 1/4 health. Completely dodged one of its patterns (the multiple layers of blue spam). My best performance yet, but more importantly I never felt I was particularly lucky during the run ( Read more... )

It turns out it was just the 500GB drive that died. I unplugged it and now I can boot again. I'm not sure if I'll be able to recover anything from it, but there was nothing critically important on it anyway.

Following some hard disc errors, my computer now won't boot. I've got most important things backed up, but for now I'm using my father's netbook (with real keyboard and mouse plugged in). It's running Ubuntu so it's not too bad ( Read more... )
