No, Donny and Len have never met before (in this life) - Donny is just overprotective, and Len is a little suspicious because he's not yet sure if Donny isn't interested in Joe himself. Paranoid, yes, but to his credit, there are only very few male characters in the whole austinverse who don't want to get into Joe's pants. Heh, and Len had met almost all of them already! It will only get harder for him...

Thank you! Aw, Donny just doesn't want Joe get hurt, and Len doesn't strike him as the guy who'll stick around, what with all the class differences and stuff. Besides, who can really be good enough for his little cousin? Ah, overprotective parental figures.

Aw, yes. I was so happy when Kate drafted that part- it really should be like a slap in the face, you know? There is this line between Joe-with-Len and Joe-alone, that will become very obvious to everyone but the two of them before long.
