I do have to wonder how they are ever able to use any information they get from their suspects the way they treat them. Five-0 breaks most laws six ways from Sunday when they interrogate suspects and gather evidence, and you have to wonder how on earth it ever holds up in court.

There's absolutely no way it would. They're always going in without warrants and assaulting people to get answers. I know it's mostly an action show, not a procedural but I wish they'd try for a smidge more realism. I'd love to see an episode where someone walks free because of their heavy-handed tactics.

When I first heard Five-0 was going to be followed around by a camera crew, I really thought it was going to be an exposé on their tactics, not a morning show fluff piece.

Speaking of Teilor, she’s very sweet and I love her but she is not a natural actress nor do I think she ever will be but she keeps trying anyway.

I think that's why we're seeing less and less of Grace. Nobody expects little kids to be good actors and they can get away with just looking cute. Now that she's older? Acting ability is rapidly becoming a requirement and she's just not very good.

Poor kid, she's really not. Has no clue how to emote, or lose the distinct Hawaiian cadence she's got which makes it pretty clear she's a local and not a relatively recent transplant like her character.

When we saw the aloha girls episode my first thought was "that little girl who plays Lucy would have been an incredible Grace." She was a terrific actress and she looks a bit like Scott.

Wow, you're inside my head! I agree with all your points, if I could have articulated them. Although Steve holding Danny back was hot, and I liked their interaction. Anyway you've nailed it!

I was so expecting Steve to 'really' demand Danny's badge, not take it for convenience. BS promises from TPTB.

Thank god I'm not the only one who feels this way about Teilor. Sweet girl, not an actress. The actress playing Ella had 10x the emotion, and she's younger! With Teilor I feel grateful if she just makes meaningful eye contact with Scott, yikes. I feel the camping episode was the last time the production tried to give her a chance; we've barely seen her since then. JMO.

I feel awful criticizing Teilor because she's just a kid and I think she really does try (she's taking acting lessons) but I think the ability to act is something you're born with, it can't really be taught. In any case I do think she's a very sweet child and is really trying hard.

Her lack on innate ability really stands out because Scott is so natural and believable and like you said, she's trying hard and it makes me want to keep giving her a chance.

I do love parent!Danny, but goodness, yes. If they took even a few tiny things from the original character's background, that would be something.
