So, it’s the second day of the new year and I truly hope 2025 will be a healthy and Happy New Year for us all!  The Christmas holidays always go by in such a rush, so leave your decorations up until Jan 6th-you can continue to savor them and the Three Wiseman can see some festive lights :):)

I hope everyone who celebrates had a Merry Christmas and a Happy Wednesday!  Due to an emergency with my sister in law's mom, we didn't get to have our tradidtional Christmas dinner on the 25th, so we'll be celebrating Friday or Saturday.  Right now all that matters is that my SIL's mom's health starts improving, so if you can, please keep her in ( Read more... )

So, it's Christmas Eve and we got out of work at 12pm which is a gift in itself :)  We're going to my cousin's house tonight for a family party and then tomorrow will be Christmas dinner at my brother's which is rather fun--I hope everybody has a lovely Tuesday and joyous holiday :):)

So, I had a lovely birthday this past Friday the 13th--went to a holiday show at a local winery--and I'm amazed at how completely calm I am :)  We had our lights up and poinsettias bought the first weekend in December, my gift list is coming along nicely and we made a batch of peanut butter chocolate cookies--WOO HOO!!

Today is super cold but we’ll have a warm up in a couple of days and it’s now officially Advent/Christmas season, so it’s time for a random wintertime update of randomness:

I hope all my fellow Americans have a Happy Thanksgiving and that all my other f-listers have a lovely Thursday :):)  We will be going to my brother's for our dinner and I can't wait for the turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie.  Oh yeah, and hanging out with the family :):)

There is a Philadelphia radio station that has started playing Christmas music-two weeks before Thanksgiving-WTF??!!  That’s too damn soon!  Now onto more relevant matters:  I saw two excellent religious movies:  Conclave and Heretic. ( Movie blatherings :):) )
