I love the Rabbi Small mysteries by Harry Kemelman. :) My new goal is to read all of them, and there are several.

Book #33 was "No Surrender: My Thirty Year War" by Hiroo Onoda. I think this might end up being my favorite non-fiction read of the year. It's the memoir of a Japanese soldier trained in guerrilla tactics and left on a Philippine island during World War II who eluded capture for 30 years and refused to believe the war was really over. Book 29 was The Male Brain via audio book.
Book 30 was Have a Little Faith by Mitch Albom.

Book #31 was "Anathem" by Neal Stephenson. The book is hugely long, and I think he gets bogged down in a few places where the book gets too "talky" with not enough action, but other parts are really a rollercoaster. Book 26 was Under the Banner of Heaven by Jon Krakauer, a look at fundamentalist Mormonism as well as mainstream Mormonism, from the history of it, to the polygamist aspect, to several personal stories. The focus is a double murder that was supposedly "commanded by God", but the whole thing was fascinating.
