As I sit here in a BBQ place in Roswell, Ga. I cannot help but to be filled with thoughts as the place hustles with a late afternoon crowd that craves this establishment’s fine cuisine. The collaborating teacher gave a pop quiz today. I think the purpose of it was to see how much the student's absorbed. Well... They need more absorbing. Today was the day I got to use the lesson plan I designed myself from scratch. I designed it to be a little like team trivia where you bet points. If you answer the question correctly, you get the points, but if you missed it, you get no points. Did a neat lesson called Musical Math. Like musical chairs, but when the music stops, you get up and go to the next table and work the set of problems at that table with your group.
