I'm just sick to death of always making the effort with my friends. Although, at the moment, I use that term quite loosely. Am I not worth a reply or a phone call back?

It's just aggrivating that those I am close to are so far away!

Nan met with her surgeon today. It is cancer, and they are going to perform a lumpectomy next thursday. They're also going to check her lymph nodes, to see if it had spread. But fingers crossed. She's also got to have radiotherapy every other day for 5 weeks, but she'll get transport to and from the hospital, which is good ( Read more... )

Thankfully, she's caught it early.
Mum said she was very positive about it all.

I want to go and see her.
