On the boundary of the sespe condor sanctuary in Los Padres National Forest, Tar Creek drains into the sespe river above Fillmore California. Usually only flowing in spring and early summer; Tar creek makes it's way through huge purple boulders and tortuously sculpted rock formations creating perfect swimming holes and beautiful waterfalls.
