One turn of phrase I never want to hear again:

twin globes

Of anything. Eyes, buttocks. Whatever. It's not an attractive turn of phrase and I hear it all the damn time.

Unless it's twin globes of ice cream. I could live with that.

Recent irritating typo that threw me out of the story:

taunt for taut (I've also seen "taught" in the past. Le sigh.)

I never want to see chibi anything as long as I live. It's not cute, it's icky. Stop.

On the other hand, I quite like fancomics.

caliper for caliber
interbate for intubate
racking for wracking
cole for coal

Things that drive me bats:

1) Term papers
2) Giant mosquitos
3) Overly-earnest guidance counselors
4) The inability of interlibrary loan to get me videos
5) Computer incompatibility

I'm sure I can think of more later.

I just watched Peter's Friends, which is charming and sweet in that particular late 80's, early 90's way. You know what I mean? Earnest and cute, funny, sincere. With a good soundtrack. I miss the early 90's. It's the first part of my life I can totally remember.
