Knitting Help

What did I do wrong?

I am making a blanket...at one point, I am supposed to knit 21 stitches, drop yarn A and start in with yarn B and complete the row and then keep working that pattern.

But the two colors are disconnected, so there is one panel out of yarn A and a second panel out of yarn B.

What did I need to do so it is all one big block?

You need to cross the yarns when you add the new. Try looking at "intarsia" or "fair isle" on knittinghelp.com maybe?

That or sew them together afterwards, if its just the one stitch! lol

Excellent. I think I have it figured out but might just sew that one bad row rather than ripping out 100 stitches, lol! What can I say, I'm a lazy knitter!

Not lazy -- using your time efficently! I would totally just sew it together also. lol

It sounds like you didn't connect your new color to the old color or if you did, it didn't hold. You can probably sew it up.
