I mean, to be fair, neither was I. That summer was absolute shite for me, what with Peter and my getting attacked and all. A party was about the last thing I wanted. Loads better for all involved that nothing happened, really, because I was in a rotten enough mood as it was and I didn't much fancy the idea of making the day worse for anyone else.

Well, it's all in the name, isn't it? Celebrating the day you're born. Sort of a holiday all to yourself, if you want it to be. Some people ignore theirs, others like to have some massive party. I... did the first thing last year and a few of my friends weren't exactly pleased, but I don't much fancy the second option either. I'm quite comfortable in the middle, really. But we'll see.

[She pauses again and huffs out a frustrated breath.]

And I'm really bloody sorry if I keep prattling on about everything. I think I might be... I reckon there's a curse today or something. Haven't been affected in a while. I suppose this is what I get for being so sodding lucky.

Busy enough, I suppose, yeah. I mean, none of those people are even here to celebrate those things so it's more an honourary thing than anything else. Usually I visit the Hall just to say hello but that's a bit sad, isn't it, so maybe just mentioning it and remembering might be enough instead of spending an afternoon alone with all those portraits. Too bloody depressing.

Bill's the oldest and the one married to Fleur, he's eleven years older than me; Charlie works with dragons and lives in Romania; Percy's an absolute git, I don't even want to talk about him; the twins Fred and George run a joke shop, and Ron is Ron. Best mates with Harry and Hermione.
