No, it really isn't; we're often teased that the arguments we take seriously are idle chatter in most relationships. That doesn't relieve me, however, of her own personal form of punishment; the silent treatment. I sometimes have to sit silently for an hour or more while she cools down. Again, I realize this really isn't that bad, relative to most other couples, but it doesn't make it any more pleasant for me.

Plus, the getting *out* of the doghouse is the best bit.
