i think you'll blow even yourself away at 50.

the song is an excerpt from this lemonheads song, or i guess even dando, since the lemonheads died in the 80's in my mind. i think the song is called being around.

Hope you don't mind I added you!

Yay for spanish!

De todos modos, ¡Hola!

No hay ningun problema con el "add." I added you too!

It's very easy to travel from Madrid to other parts so don't get caught up too much in the city! Venture out!

¡Tengo tantos recuerdos! Tambien quiero ir para la imersión- (after 9 years of studying the language, i still cant roll my rrs and im far from being fluent)

thx for the add:) just a warning, dont be wierded out by my recent posts..ive been acting differently due to recent events-you´ll understand if you read i guess.

American ones? Mcdonalds and Burger King for sure but sometimes Subway and KFC in big cities. I wouldn't reccomend eating there for your trip. The food is different there too, like the sauces and ketchup taste weird.

As far as Spanish food goes pretty much everyone loves a bocadillo de tortilla de patata (an egg and potato sandwich)or bocadillo de pollo (its like a chicken salad sandwich) or Salmorejo, or paella. And of course to drink either wine, sangria, or whatever the local favorite is, The local favorite always tastes best!

The best food if you really hate Spanish food is the Turkish/whatever else cultures that also make them KEBAPS/KEBABS they are sooooo good and cheap and healthy. They are like super thin pita wraps with your choice of meat (which is all cooked on a rotisserie) with tomato, beets, lettuce, red sauce and RANCH!! the only place you'll find ranch in europe. Also FALAFEL is great if you can find a place that has it... Barcelona has MAOZ Falafel its a company from Amsterdam and it is super delicious.

hope that

I would call Salmorejo "yummy goodness" it is a favorite of everyone. Here we would look at it as a dip; it is really thick and you can dip bread or french fries in it (in my house they would dump a bunch of french fries into it and then eat with a fork)The following are some definitions from the internet...

salmorejo.
(De salmuera).
1. m. Salsa compuesta de agua, vinagre, aceite, sal y pimienta.
2. m. Reprimenda, escarmiento.
3. m. And.
