I love these. Lily's realizing she's not a child any more, James' reaction and then Sirius' reaction while imagining James'.... Remus just made me ache, poor man. And Peter... I love that, the way he's thinking of them still as his friends even while he's betraying them. It's so sad and so realistic. Great job.

As Peter knelt at the foot of the Dark Lord and waited for an order, he wondered what he'd get Lily and James at the baby shower. That was fantastic and made the whole fic for me. I really liked Remus' section as well!

Loved the little touches that made this fic come alive--Lily's thought that chasing Death Eaters wasn't "real," Remus' lack of surprise, Peter's ability to compartmentalize. (Yikes!) Thanks so much for playing along! Maggie
