“What took you here, Karina?” Jin asked the woman in front of him with forced kindness trying to control his voice. Inside he was more than pissed at the actress, as he had to watch Kazuya and the boys walk away confused. What the hell was that woman doing there in that time?

Since Karina popped up at a party, where Jin appeared mostly out of duty and after a few glasses of champagne the singer was not against having sex quickly in a staffroom with the young woman, he bumped into her again and again. That time Karina was only fresh meat on the table of the Entertainment industry. As all the little models and pretty faces, she used up all her ‘talent’ moving forward on the ladder to be a superstar. In a few years she became really popular and appeared at each party where Jin was invited. Not as if Akanishi gave a shit about it. He was not really good in handling his one-night stands at all. Karina managed to have affair with some big directors and publishing company heads, which meant the selfish chick gave headache to Jin.

In the beginning Akanishi had a few rounds with her after Karina was persuading enough and did not see clearly how crazy Karina was stalking the singer whenever she had chance to it. She was too possessive and well, for Jin she was not the ideal girlfriend - not as if he was looking for one at all. But the actress was determined to convince the singer at any price. Jin avoided those parties for a while. When the woman somehow got into Jin’s private party just to make him jealous making out with two of Jin’s friends in the same time Akanishi was pissed like hell only because he found them doing it on his own bed in his own bedroom. He did not give a shit about who and how many of his buddies were stuffing Karina in the same time. He was not interested to do it with her for a while. After that incident he didn't intend to do it with her again at all. Jin’s friend managed to appease the singer with a new expensive bed at least. Since then he was avoiding Karina as much as it was possible, but of course the woman took it as a success making the famous Akanishi Jin jealous, which meant the annoying actress was not giving up on snatching the singer back.

“I think the same as you, praying for my future as every New Year,” she replied with a smirk on her face. “Did I interrupt your little… who was that boy actually?”

“None of your business, Karina.”

“May I saw him somewhere…” the woman draw circles with her index on Akanishi’s chest pondering about it.

“I doubt so. He is not in the industry,” the singer cut in and pushed her hand away.

“Oh, really? And where is he from? How did he meet the big Akanishi Jin then?”

Jin was sure that Karina’s interest was out of curiosity, which was not without lurking thoughts. Who knows what would go on in her head if she gets to know about Kazuya and the details of their relationship. Jin doubted it would turn out good. If it was about Karina, that was sure, that there was nothing that came out good.

“You don’t have to worry about him. He won’t cross your way. As I said he is not from the industry. If you excuse me… “ Jin started and was ready to leave the surprised woman, when that put both of her palms onto the wide chest stopping the man.

“May I will cross yours in the future,” she leant closer suddenly talking on her seductive voice.

“W-what do you mean by that?” Jin stumbled back from the push, and raised his voice losing his patience.

“I have a good chance to get the main female role in the move you will be in. We can act together. What a good surprise, isn’t it?” she said smiling, which made Jin almost freak out. Only thinking about it made Akanishi’s hair stand up on his neck. That was a really, really bad surprise. They were in the beginning of making the contract, but if Karina gets the main female role he would be out. He did not care about who will act his lover in the upcoming movie, but he was definitely against Karina. Anyone else would do, but Karina.

Until he had not signed the contract, of course he had no words in it. But for sure he will have a conversation with his manager about it. As soon as possible. Until that it was better to avoid any conflict.

“We will see, Karina.”

“Oh, are we still angry about last time? Though I admit it was not nice of me, but I was too drunk. The two guys were so horny… it just happened… I don’t remember exactly how. C’mon Jin, don’t tell me you haven’t done it before,” Karina purred like a cat and showed her most innocent face leaning again closer to Jin.

“I told you I don’t care about it. You can have sex with whomever you want, dear.”

Akanishi put on his weird smile hiding his annoyance. Why can’t this sick bitch just get that he did not want anything from her? Is it possible to get rid of her at all? Stepping into the singer’s personal life was one thing, but even into his work? Who the hell was she?

“I see, you are still jealous because of last time, though I would heal your wounded heart if you let me,” Karina purred again and Jin avoided another attack of her unwanted nuzzling.

“I don’t need it, thanks. I’m happy you got a big chance, but I don’t have time to chit-chat about it right now. They are waiting for me,” Akanishi said politely, but even so with a nice amount of disapproval in his voice. The singer stepped aside and left the surprised actress hurriedly.

“Fine, see you later, dear! Don’t make your mysterious pretty boy wait for you too long!” Karina yelled after Jin, who was almost out of the yard of the temple. His thought was back on Kazuya pondering wether the young call-boy was still waiting for him at Jin’s car as the singer told them. Remembering how upset Kazuya looked like showed not much promise for Akanishi.

***

Kazuya would have no intention to wait in the car or anywhere, but as the shine of the sun got reflected from the key which shimmered in Yuuya's hand he acknowledged there is no other option. The rollercoaster of emotions took turns, twisting and making him exhausted continue rushing their never-ending journey to make him restless. He was longing for it to reach the end already. Every game ends sometime right?
Speaking about game...Why did he have to go through of this all? Being played by? And most importantly why did it have to turn out with his brothers involved? They should have just kept their everyday life, without any disturbance. The life they were used to, continue everything the same way as it was. As it should be. Or was he overreacting? Does everything happens with reason and now they are where they have to be?

"How long will Jin be away?" Yuuya asked carefully as he was sitting with his two brothers on the backseat, looking out of the window in hope of the appearance of "captain Jin". Kazuya who was sitting next to the empty driver seat suppressed a sigh. He will never forgive Akanishi Jin for making even his brothers sad. Because Kame could tell from the tone that his little sibling was more than disappointed. Damn that woman. Damn Jin! Just damn everything! Good start of the year... He thought sarcastically.

"He will be back soon, but please don't expect much from this meeting, I just met him by accident and I helped him so now he feels obligated to help me maybe, but I doubt we will meet him again." He explained and at the same time he knew how cruel he was and how hurtful this might be to the others. But better to tell things, which is more closer to reality than living in sweet lies or hope. Even if the half of the sentence he just made up. He really should just write the motto onto his shirt: hope is the first step to disappointment.

With this, everything got crystal clear to Yuuichirou and he really doubted Akanishi made these efforts if he didn't want to convey something to his big brother. Something, which started to be even obvious to a teenager. He didn't need to be an experienced aged person to notice the vibes. He wondered if only he was the one who thought like this. Was his brother in denial? Why was he overcomplicating things? The world of adults can be so strange sometimes.
"You can never know Kazu, I am sure he has a good explanation." He said calmly and Kame got shocked a little. Since when does Yuuichirou speak so seriously and like an adult? Panic rose in him suddenly a little and he started to go to defense, back into the shell and the invisible walls hardened.

"What explanation? We need no explanation Yuuichirou. We are no one to him, far from the position where we can demand any explanation from him. I don't know what you are talking about, we will go home and won't disturb Akanishi-san further. We just need to give his keys back, that's all." The sad fact was that he saw his brothers got attached to the singer too much already even though they spent just a little time together. There really was something in Jin that attracted people. How could he think he was single? This must be put to an end and if it wasn't drastically, then it would hurt more. He couldn't allow the situation to go further, bonds to be even stronger. Now it was still not too late to stop, it was just a half day for his brothers, it couldn't mean so much to them, right?
The atmosphere was tense and stress lingered in the air.

Kouji was just listening to the conversation and he was on the opinion to better stay silent. He understood nothing at all. Why was Akanishi Jin at their doorstep and why was his brother so angry now?
Yuuichirou on the other hand rolled his eyes 'Akanishi-san?'. Here comes his big brother's protective shell. Not only Jin's intentions, but what his brother was feeling was now obvious to him too, now the question was only the singer's side. The teen decided that at the first opportunity he will get, he will ask Jin about everything. He must know the truth in order to protect Kame who was like an idol to him. A man he wanted to become.

Kazuya looked out of the window even though he knew it was futile and this action of his made him feel even more miserable. He couldn't see Jin, but he didn't even want to. Not with his girlfriend. Not ever again. Okay, that's it. He made the decision in a heartbeat and he was not about to be turned back by anyone or anything. He knew what he was going to ask his brother was rude, but right now he was so tired and angry he didn't really care. He was fed up.

"Everyone, get out of the car."

All three heads shot into his direction, a little shocked at the sudden order which came in an icecold tone, which almost made them shiver. The serious expression paired with the even darker tone when the adult said "Now." made the tenseness even stronger in all of their bodies.
They looked at the grownup, then at each other. This is not good, this shouldn't be like this, Kazuya should calm down, and someone should make him think straight! They realized there are so many faces of the always kind big brother they have never seen before.

They knew Kame that much that they better obligate, so even if with a little bit of reluctantly, they got out of the car, standing in a line miserably, kind of shocked still. None of them dared to say his own opinion getting scared of the consequences and they noticed now Kame was not really open to anything.

"Yuuya, please go and give Akanishi his keys back." came the next order in the form of a sentence with a huge dot at the end.

The child gaped and wanted to oppose, but the look he got from Kazuya made him remain silent. Not that he could bring himself to move immediately and he was just standing there, looking down hoping the heart of his big brother will soften. No, he just can't do that, he can't give the keys back just like this! Someone do something!

"Yuuya!" Kazuya's voice was more demanding now, a little bit bossy.

The child looked up straight into Kame's eyes and pouted, but it had no effect and didn't lessen the stern look he received. He has no other choice right? No one will take his side now, right? He puffed his cheek slightly and turned into the direction where Jin must be. What should he do now? He must go, he knew it. He was a little worried about his big brother and wanted desperately to help but also to give a chance to Jin to talk about what happened. He liked the singer very much, there was no person so far who was this cheerful and kind as Akanishi was to him. And he wanted desperately to ask his captain something and he won't let him go out of his life as long he didn't receive the answer.
He was just a child, but he could see the idol didn't have any bad intention and the way he looked at his big brother told him he wanted to be friend too. Yuuya desired them to be a family, to meet Jin every day and with every second he became more and more determined to make it happen.
With a last look at the car and the family he took a glimpse of Yuuichirou signaling him carefully 'no'. So, he was not alone in the plan, whatever he will come up with will be accepted by at least one of his brothers, that gave him more self-confidence to carry on. Because the plan was already born in his little head.

Yuuya started to go into the direction of Jin but stopped as soon as the car was not visible anymore and he knew his family was not able to see him either. He saw Jin was speaking with the lady though he couldn't catch what they were talking about. What really set his plan into motion were the singer's eyes. They didn't shine the same way they did when Akanishi was looking at his brother, the idol seemed somewhat bothered and maybe irritated.

Yuuya nodded and carefully, not to be seen by Jin nor by the people in front of the car he moved away and when he was sure that really no one can see him, he started to run into a third direction to find a place to hide. He will make them be a team again while looking for him no matter how long time he has to be under a bench or behind a tree or anywhere he could hide. This will make them be friendly with each other again, at least he hoped so. This was the only thing he could come up with now.

***

While Akanishi made his way back to his car he tried to push his annoyance aside. Karina was not worth to ruin his day with Kazu-chan and the guys, which has just started and the singer hoped, that it won’t end after a small incident. As he approached the vehicle and saw the young man standing on the street with his brothers looking nervous a wave of guilt made Jin insecure.

“I’m sorry to make you wait. It was only an acquaintance.”

Kame wasn't curious about the things the other comes up with, he didn't want to hear. The thing he wanted to hear the most at the moment was his little brother's whereabouts because he was supposed to be with the singer but he was not.

"Where is Yuuya?" Kazuya looked at Jin questioningly.

“Yuuya?” the singer repeated surprised. He remembered seeing the four of them leaving him with Kame. He did not know what was Kazuya talking about. “Yuuya was with you, right?”

The anger Kazuya felt started to be overclouded with stormclouds of worry. Seriously, this was the feeling he really didn't want to feel at least this day. What he was overflowed with was enough already. Looked like the roller-coaster decided to go to higher places and involve more emotions to its journey. Great. Just great.

"What? I sent him to give the key back to you. He is... supposed to be with you." His expression showed his inner feelings, worry was the only emotion he couldn't hide well at all.

“With me? I haven’t met him at all? Are you sure about it?” Jin asked puzzled. The more he was rethinking about that short time he has spent separated from the guys, the more worried he got with every minute.

Kame scanned the area with his eyes and then they returned to look at Akanishi. He tried to hide the desperate feelings but he was not sure he succeeded in it. He felt sweat running from his back because of the sudden stress and even his heart started to beat uncomfortably fast. The young man looked towards the area Yuuya disappeared to and prayed for the safety of his sibling. Without further words he started to walk, passing by Akanishi and his mind could just concentrate on one thing: to find his little brother.

"Yuuya!" He shouted in hope of an answer.

Jin noticed the change in the dark orbs and it made his heart beat faster. This time it was out of worry, not the pleasant one when they eyed each other for short time before leaning on for a kiss. Jin felt how his blood rushed in his veins and he was afraid there went something wrong, really, really wrong.

“Wait… Kazuya, wait!” Jin turned around and shouted after the young man who started to search for the youngest Kamenashi desperately.

Kouji ran after his brother worried and left Yuuichirou standing next to the car. He sighed, eyeing the others and shook his head. The teenager didn't know what his little brother planned, but he was sure that nothing bad happened. It was just Yuuya's way to oppose and he felt a little guilty he gave the other courage with his little sign he made when the child left.

"Yuuya! Where are you?" Kame ignored Jin and started to increase the speed of his steps as if it helped finding the other. He thought he will go crazy as his hands started to shake a little. If anything happened with any of his brother he wouldn't survive.

Akanishi sped up his steps and reached after Kazuya grabbing his arm firmly.

“Please wait. We should search Yuuya together. I’ll go around outside and you should check the shrine until that.”

Kazuya felt the grip and it forced him to stop. He would do anything to find the child but his clouded mind started to clear to the state that it would be better to set a plan, not just ran around like idiots. 'Think Kazuya, think.'

"Kouji, go home and wait there, maybe he is there already." the young man had no idea why this popped into his mind, but a check couldn't harm. Then he looked at Yuuichirou who was still standing at the same spot.

"Yuuichirou, you stay there, maybe he is coming back to the car." Why was this happening? Why must life give even bigger obstacle? His eyes found Jin's who still had the hard grip on his arm and he just nodded, He was too exhausted and too much in need for help.

"Okay, let's do that."

Kazuya couldn't think straight as he separated himself from the firm grip and started to search for his brother. His hands were shivering and he thought he can faint in any moment. Life is always like this right? Teaching people a lesson. He thought worse can't come and here it was, fate showed him actually how it was when things REALLY went wrong somewhere and what the real bad situation was. Now his thoughts were not around his love problem, it looked so small beside the one he got now. No matter how it seemed to be the biggest problem on the world a few minutes ago.

'Don't panic, everything will be alright, just don't panic.'

He tried to tell to himself, repeating this mantra as he was restlessly searching the child with his eyes without any result. Where can he be?

Yuuya was always listening to him, he never had any problems with behavior, he knew what was right and what not. That is why now the scenarios what could happen were full of horror and his worst nightmares came to life. What if he was kidnapped? Got hurt or maybe even......?

No. He shouldn't think like that. The guilt washed him over, joining in the messy dance of emotions in his heart. He shouldn't have let Yuuya go alone no matter how short the distance was. He was just a child, anything can happen. It was totally his fault. He was selfish, thinking only about his problems. And so he got a bigger one.

He learned his lesson already, now he was praying for a good end. This was what the mikuji meant? He will have a very bad start of the year? Well, it couldn't have started worse actually. He will never, never ever let the child go alone.

"Excuse me" He stopped his hurried steps in front of the small shop where miko-sans were selling the mikuji and protecting amulets. The girl facing him got startled a little because the expression on Kame's face reflected so much desperateness and scare that she could read from it, there was something really wrong.

"Yes sir?" She asked her eyes filled with worry.

"Have you seen a little child? He is eight years old, was wearing a dark blue jacket, black trousers and light red knitted hat. His black hair reaches around until his shoulder." His voice was wavering as he explained though he tried to suppress what he was feeling. He never failed this much as now.

No acting helped; actually he couldn't act at all, being a living mess, unable to form sentences correctly. This Kamenashi Kazuya was not in his shell, he showed his real feelings this time, the pure worry. His eyes and all of his being reflected it. He was praying for a positive answer as he looked down onto the amulet he got from Yuuya. Do they really work? If they do, please let Yuuya be safe, please!

The girl looked at her colleagues but every of them shook their heads, starting to get worried too, knowing nothing about Yuuya.

"No we are sorry we haven't seen him. Is something wrong? We can ask the priest as well." The miko said in a helpful tone. As she saw Kazuya nodding she hurried away as fast as she could.

"Yes, it would be very nice, thank you very much." Not that the priest was able to see anything, the young man thought in disappointment. He was not even out the whole time and normal people can't enter the temple, so it was sure Yuuya was not there. But who knows, miracles can happen. Right? Or was he naïve, believing in things like this?

The few minutes the girl was away seemed to be an eternity to Kame. As time passed slowly his demons got his mind totally, making him sure something very fatal happened. Fighting them took a lot of efforts and Kazuya felt he was never this close to actually giving his mind to the darkness, falling to the floor. It was just too much. He thought when Akanishi left him that morning, he couldn't feel worse, but oh how wrong he was.

But he stayed strong. He had to. It was a must. Maybe the child went home for some reason, or was already back to the car. Maybe Jin already found him. No need to bury the child in his head, to think about death and other nonsense things. Because no, it just CAN'T happen. The mere thought sent uncomfortable shivers through his body and made the hair on his neck stand.

"Sir?" He heard from behind and saw the priest and the miko coming with worried faces.

"What happened?" The old man asked as the priestess bowed and went back to continue her task, though her eyes were time to time on the two who were sharing a conversation she was not able to hear from there.

"I am really sorry to hear this young man, but I help you search for him." The priest said after he listened to Kame explaining what happened. He felt responsibility too. It happened in his temple so he was meant to help as well. And on the other hand, he was worried and really wanted to find the child too. "I will look around the rest of the temple."

"Is it really alright with you? Sorry for involving even you." Kazuya bowed deeply, knowing how not nice to bother the priest is.

"It is okay young man, I am sure we will find him, this is a shrine, the Gods won't let anything bad to happen, have faith." As Kame looked at him how wise and kind he seemed to be he got a little bit calmer. But just a little bit, his inside was still shivering and his hands as well, though the purity of the place managed to help him defeat the darkest thoughts.

"Thank you very much!" He bowed again, even deeper.

Even with the two united, looking around the temple, even inside, no luck. Yuuya was nowhere. The old priest was really helpful, he even said he will go and do a meditation to ask the fire God to tell him the child's whereabouts. They agreed to meet at the same place after an hour but if they find Yuuya earlier the priest should be informed about it.

Kame started to walk back to the car and he didn't even realize how with every step he made the slower he got. He was afraid. What if Yuuya won't stand next to Yuuichirou? What if even Jin couldn't find him?
He was so desperate he just wanted to cry, but he had that much power to hold the teardrops back. If he breaks now then what? What would it help? It will just make things much worse and it was the last thing they needed now.

***

Yuuichirou looked up at the sky and sighed. He was still not worried. He knew his young brother well enough that the only thing that could come into his mind as plan was to hide somewhere. Apparently he did it well because no one seems to find him. He was on the same opinion that they should keep Jin there. They should make the two adults speak with each other calmly and normally but Yuuichirou was afraid that this plan was not the best way to make it happen. Maybe it will just make things worse.

He couldn't blame Yuuya though. For sure the child wasn't suspecting things the older was, what was between his big brother and the singer. He might just like Akanishi very much and it was his own way to keep him there.
He wondered how this situation will end, how it will turn out. He hoped for the best but as he looked at the pale face of Kazuya who just arrived back made him sure this is a serious matter and Yuuya will be scolded like hell. Where could he hide?

***

Yuuya peeked out from his hiding place but he didn't see any of his family members, neither Akanishi. He sighed and hid back more carefully. He was sure they are already looking for him, he also was certain about how angry everyone will be, but he really couldn't just give the key back.

The weather got a little cold already so he curled himself to keep his body as warm as possible. But even if he froze to death, he won't come out as long as he is not sure about Jin staying with them at least until the end of the day.

***

Kouji was running all way. What could happen? Where can his brother be? Really at home? Life was like a movie from the beginning of the day starting with the famous Akanishi Jin standing in the doorway bringing food as if he was a family member and now the film continued just changed genre, became horror instead. His heart was pounding in his chest as he reached the door. The little boy wouldn't have thought he could run this much, but here he was, he did it. People think low of themselves right? Their limits are much more higher than what they think.

With shaking hands Kouji put the key into the door. He wanted to do it so fast, but it turned out the other way around because he was flustering. When he finally opened it, he rushed in, shouting "Yuuya? Are you here?" He checked the kitchen, the living room, he ran upstairs checking their rooms but his little brother was nowhere to be seen. The house was empty. He was just standing in the middle of the room trying not to worry too much, hoping the others already found him.

Only then Kouji just remembered that the mobile phone they have is with him. Kazuya bought them a mobile phone, a very simple one which can only send message and call, no internet, no fancy things nor applications. It was just in case something happened so they can call Kame and let him know what is with them, reassure him so he won't worry.

The phone was always a good friend of them, they shared it and they were together almost always so it was no fight who should have it anyway. Now the friend who always was there to reassure and convey good news became something which has to convey a bad one. With a sigh he opened the phonebook and clicked onto the number of his big brother.

It took Jin only a short time to walk around the shrine with hurried long steps curse Karina every possible way for messing up their morning. The singer wished to never ever meet the annoying bitch again as he turned right behind the huge stone wall which surrounded the shrine. Next to it there was a huge building with large yard and parking place. It was empty. He crossed it and searched the way where Yuuya could go. If he went there at all.

Jin passed by a lot of mansion behind the temple. He saw a few people around there, but no Yuuya. He was worried, as worried as never in his life. Something like that never happened to him. You could tell he was a lucky devil. There was nothing to worry about in his life. If there was it couldn’t be compared to this situation. He was lucky, always lucky. He could just hope that the cheerful little boy was at least half as lucky as he was.

Akanishi’s eyes scanned the bushes on the other side of the road. There was only a small set-back with two empty benches under a tree. Everything was so bare. The snow that started to fall last night had disappeared already. Only the coldness was left behind, a coldness which only added to his worry right now.

Slowly he walked forward still scanning the area with his eyes, when two little boys turned on the corner running and laughing. One of them wore a similar blue coat as Yuuya and made Jin's heart stop for a moment. He wanted to yell, and run to them, but after the two reached the singer Jin saw that none of them was the little Kamenashi.

For a fleeting moment he thought he will see Yuuya’s cheerful little face, looking at him smiling and tell Jin how bad the older was in hide-and-seek. For a second Jin thought that he will see Kazuya turn on the corner as well smiling running after the two boys towards him. But the moment passed and only a young couple followed the two playful kids, probably their parents.

Jin sighed and continued his way unwillingly. It was the last corner he turned right. It was the last chance for him to find the little Yuuya on his way. He felt disappointed, but on the other hand a small hope for Yuuya was already found by Kazuya lingered in his thoughts. His eyes still scanned the street desperately, when he reached back to the car.

Jin saw Kazuya’s back first as the younger man was talking on his mobile phone. He slowed down his steps and his eyes found Yuuchirou, who was leaning against the black car with a face that told Jin clearly that the little Yuuya was still lost.

When Kame saw from the corner of his eyes that the singer returned alone, he almost dropped the phone and the cold wave of worry rushed through his body again sinking into every of his pour.

"No, Akanishi-san didn't find him either." He managed to say in a slightly shivering tone of voice, his hands became colder than before but it had nothing to do with the chilly wind which became stronger in every minute.

"I hope too. Please stay at home, okay? Maybe he is on the way. Call me if there is any change." With this he ended the phone call, looking at Jin worriedly and he could imagine how pale he was. The same color as the snow perhaps.

"He is not at home either." He said hopelessly. Yuuichirou was torn of what to do. Should he say that most likely the child just wanted Jin to stay and that's why he planned something crazy as this?

“Oh, no… “ the words slipped off of Akanishi’s mouth facing Kazu-chan, who got more and more worried while losing the color of his handsome face. “What should we do now? Should I… go around again? Or call the police? It’s not long Yuuya disappeared, right? He must be here… somewhere.”

Yuuichirou eyed the two adults and suppressed a sigh. Of course he got a little worried too by now, but he just wanted to say 'Go and search for him TOGETHER!’ That's what he supposed Yuuya wanted to achieve, but he stayed silent.

Kame couldn't do anything else just starting to walk to a direction again, ignoring everything and everyone, calling out Yuuya's name, but not that desperately as before. No, he has to keep himself in control. Only like that can he have results.

"I will stay here in case he is coming back here." the younger Kamenashi said to Jin and looked after his brother.

The singer nodded to Yuuchirou being thankful for the young boy’s support and turned around searching Kazuya with his eyes before that could disappear. It was cold, really cold winter morning. The area must have been familiar to the little Yuuya and Jin had no clue how it was possible that the little boy got lost in such a short time. It must have something happened. He was there with his brothers in one moment and disappeared in the next. Maybe Kazuya scolded Yuuya because of something and as stubborn the boy was he just ran away to piss his big brother. Or he wanted to stay a little longer out… or saw one of his buddies. Or who knows. Jin was not good in such things. He did not have any child in his life. He was sure Kazuya had more experience with taking care of one than the singer. Though it seemed that right now the pretty call-boy was on the edge of falling apart.

Jin hurried after Kazu-chan and called out Yuuya’s name like the other man did. The young man did not stop just hurried along the streets yelling his little brother’s name. The singer had a hard time to catch up with him. Only when they reached a small park with a playground Jin was able to approach the frightened young man.

Kazuya stopped to catch his breath, looking around, scanning the empty playground with chest raising and dropping in a quick pace. Normally the area was full with children and their families, but this mornnig everyone used their time to the traditional new year celebrating and the coldness outside was not the weather for young children to be out much, so the area was silent. It made the heart of the young man heavy even more as his eyes were restlessly searching of any sign of Yuuya. The luck was not on his side though he secretly hoped this is the place he will find the child.

"Where are you...?" He sighed, feeling as if icicles were stabbing his heart.

Kazu-chan’s voice was so broken now. Not as playful, lovely or cheering as it used to be. Somehow an uneasy feeling tightened around Jin’s heart looking at the back of the young man. He was worried for Yuuya and also for Kazuya. He couldn’t just watch how his little call-boy was falling apart in silence. In the next moment Jin reached out and grabbed the young man’s shoulder in front of him giving some support, or at least a sign that he was there helping.

“Kazuya… “ his voice was soft and caring, but the muscles stiffened under his palm and the other said nothing for a while nor faced Akanishi at all.

"Let me go." Was the silent reply for the touch and the young man was still not turning around. "Just... let me go." It was too much for him. No matter how hard he tried to calm himself down, it all just came to him as a lightning, all of the problems, insecurities and worries crashed him down and formed a desperately angry, broken Kazuya who was not aware anymore of what he was saying.

"Why are you still here? What are you doing here?? Since you stepped into my life it is a mess, it is... I just don't know anything anymore. You mixed everything up, you.... just ... I can do this alone, I will do this alone!" Only this was when he faced the singer. That handsome face... he wanted to cry, to just find Yuuya and never gaze into those eyes again. The monster of exhaustion sneaked into him again, as if something was stealing all of his energy. He thought he will go crazy. He stared into Jin's eyes with feelings mixing in it, anger, worry, desperation and something he could not name and he didn't even care to. All he cared now was to wake up from this nightmare and get Yuuya back safely.

Jin starred at the handsome face, which reflected all emotions that crossed Kazu-chan in the moment. The harsh tone was just like a slap into his face and the eyes, those shining eyes sparkled from anger and suppressed tears. The singer faced a different Kazuya suddenly and the shock made him numb for a while letting the hard words slap on him one by one like a lash of whip. It was not his fault, wasn’t it? How could the young man say something like that? He was not serious; he did not mean that, right?

“But… Kazu-chan… I-I… I want to help you.”

Kame looked away, he was no longer able to look into those eyes. He had too much to deal with. He didn't need any additional pain to it.
"And how? We are useless, we can't do anything, see? Yuuya was never like this, I don't know what happened, I raised him and even I don't know what to do, then how can you? We should have just left instead of waiting. I... shouldn't even come here!"

If Jin has not came back the morning, if they have not came here together, if that stupid bitch has not showed up... so many ifs.... But deep inside he knew it was not Jin's fault. It was his. He hated to be so vulnerable, so not knowing what to do. He was good at handling a lot of situations, life taught him, but not this. Not THESE, what his life brought in such a short time.

“We could ask around, or ask for help, better than running around in panic. It’s not long ago and Yuuya must be here near… somewhere. Your brothers are helping too… “ Jin tried to open up the other man’s eyes making him listen.

The more Jin said the more Kame started to be fed up with everything. He couldn't think normally and the singer's presence deepened his misery even more. When something bad happens you see everything in a bad light and feel your little problems to be serious too.

"I already tried. Even the priest is looking for him..." The tone of his voice was low, hopeless and so tired. He didn't give up, but maybe he could do this better, he could stay stronger if Jin wasn't here. He just can't understand, right?

“I know, but it’s not my fault!” Jin burst out losing his patience. Kazuya was a mess he saw as well and didn’t know how to reach under the surface, to make the younger think clearly. Raising his voice shook Kazuya off of his miserable state and caught the lather’s attention for a fleeting second. The supporting hand flew back to the shoulder and Jin continued on a softer voice.

“It’s not mine… and also not yours. Please, Kazuya look at me!”

The touch of the singer... this was the last he needed now, it didn't help at all... the opposite. He would just want to break down and cry, but as he already convinced himself and faced the cruel reality: it wouldn't help at all. He couldn't bring himself to look at the singer. He would look anywhere but not at the face which haunted him and made him feel so many things at once.

Yuuya was watching them from the bush, not really catching what they were saying but it seemed as if the two adults were arguing. This was not what he wanted to achieve, he wanted to bring them together more to be friends. It seemed with his little plan he did the opposite and suddenly he became a little afraid. He will be scolded, right? The peaceful situation he imagined turned out to be the most unpeaceful one and if they find him they will be so furious... He curled himself up more and watched the scene fighting with himself whether to go out or not. He should right? He can't let things to go even worse.

With every minute the tenseness between Kame and Jin grew and the child was sure he should move finally but he didn't dare to. His legs didn't obey him, he was too afraid of the consequences. He was sitting there like a little snowball, pale and sad until he gasped at Jin how even he raised his voice now. That can't continue, that is wrong! They should stop! Crystal clear drops formed in the corner of his eyes which rolled down his little face as he gathered all his courage and stood up, running out of the bush, stopping in front of the seemingly shocked adults.

"Please don't fight, please!" He pleaded crying, looking guilty into his big brother's eyes.

Seeing Yuuya alive and without any harm lifted a huge weight off of Kazuya's heart and he thought his legs would give in because of the sudden relief. The pace of his heartbeat was still fast, he couldn't fully overcome the shock in such a short time but he felt a lot better.

"God Yuuya, where have you been?? What were you doing??" He went onto his knees hugging the shaking child, thanking God he was found.

Jin watched the scene, staring wide eyes jaw dropped, like a movie was played in front of him. It took him quite a while until his brain caught up with the happenings. He didn’t even notice when did Kazuya slipped out of his hand, not as if he wanted to stop the younger man. It was a relief indeed seeing Yuuya in one piece. Even if the boy was crying heart wrenching at the moment. Maybe he lost the car key and didn’t dare to face the singer or something like that. It did not matter, It did not matter at all.

“You scarred the shit out of us, little bandit!” Jin sighed and let out the tension with one long breath. He needed a deep drag from his cigarette which was somewhere in his pocket, but instead of lighting one he knelt down as well and took the small, cold hand into his, when Yuuya looked up at the singer through clouded eyes. “It’s alright kid.”

"Are you hurt? Someone did something bad to you? Where were you?" The worried big brother flooded the child with millions of questions and he only got shaking of head in return from the crying little Kamenashi. He really didn’t seem to be hurt, but why was the boy crying then? What happened?

Yuuya clenched Jin's hand as tight as he could, afraid of being torn apart, afraid that with this hide and seek he affected the singer badly and he was angry at him though his eyes didn't show any sign of it. Then maybe he was not that much?

"I am so sorry! So so sooo sorry! I didn't mean to... I just wanted to.... " he couldn't speak clearly because of sobbing and he wasn't sure he should tell about the plan. It took him very much courage to look Kazuya in the eyes too but as he did guilt washed over him and he just started to cry even more, grabbing the hand of his sibling too. This was what he wanted so much. To hold both of their hands for forever so they can't separate, can't go anywhere. He wanted them to be a family so much, he liked Jin, he just hoped so much...

The small fingers tightened around Akanishi’s desperately while Yuuya was sobbing his little heart out.
It made Jin relived to hold on, but also he wanted the boy to calm down. Not as if he was good in such things. He had never done anything similar, though he liked kids. Once one of his cousins put her baby into the singers hand for a photo and the baby started to cry. Jin froze and did not know what to do. Well that was ages ago. Yuuya was not a baby anymore and Jin was kind of mature, kind of…

“It’s OK, Yuuya-kun, it’s OK,” Jin repeated rubbing the little hand with both of his warming up more. He kept doing it, also stroking the boy’s head a few times until that calmed down somewhat.

"Are you two... angry?" his weak voice was full of concern and he looked down onto his feet, but still holding the hands securely, feeling how they warmed his cold ones up. And also his little heart too. Was it bad to get attached to Jin so much? Was it foolish to want to become a family?

Kame didn't know what to think of this situation, or better to say he didn't want to think about it at all. It was kind of heart wrenching, the icicles once again appeared in his heart, laughing mockingly but the reason has changed. Now he had a little suspect why his brother did such a reckless thing as hiding. Because it was obvious right? The child was alright, no one did anything to him and yet he is crying his soul out. Kazuya knew Yuuya that much to figure out he felt guilty and the adult could calm down and see things clearly now enough to guess the reason. Akanishi Jin. Or was he too paranoid?

He wished he was and he hoped with all of his heart he was not right, but Yuuya's actions showed otherwise. He got so attached to Jin in such a short time he would do anything to prevent him from going away, right? Was it some kind of curse on the Kamenashi family to get head over heels with the singer? Though he knew the child's attraction to the star was totally different than his, but still it seemed like his sibling developed innocent adoration towards the Akanishi. Now not only he will fall to the ground like a bird which had its wings cut, no more able to fly, but also the child who was still too pure to understand how society was going and how people in different rank and level would never be where they are for long.

"No, not angry Yuuya." Kame's voice was steady but also a little hint of sadness. Why was he like this? Of course he was happy and glad Yuuya was alright but.... soon he won't be... Soon his hand will be abandoned by Jin and he can just watch the back of the man who goes away and never comes back. How will he be able to explain Yuuya why this has to be like that? He felt as if his heart was bleeding as he realized Yuuya was holding his hand in one and Jin's in the other. Oh dear God...

"Give Akanishi-san the car keys back, okay?" He said softly, trying to suppress how sad he felt inside. Hearing this, Yuuya just held the singer's hand even tighter.

Jin saw the fear in the black orbs and patted the little boy’s head gently. “Don’t worry. I just take you home, ‘kay?”

Yuuya nodded, looking into his captain's eyes hopefully and started to go to the direction of the temple but refused to let the hands go. He will link them together even if he only can do it until they reach the car.

Kazuya sighed feeling exhausted and in his soul he already was forming the words what he will say to the child after Jin walks out of their lives. And what he will say to himself as well. What a day... and it was only just noon. He hoped the rest of the year to go smoothly but deep inside he knew... they can never be the same again and his life is changed for forever.
