The state of Missouri issued my tax return early this morning. We're talking a direct deposit to my checking account of SIX BUCKS. That's right, $6!!

My stomach is making the most awful noises. Even the woman in the next cube commented on how terrible it sounds. Whatever stomach virus I've had for the past week and a half, only wants to get worse.

I estimate that I've squished the life out of about 30 spiders in the past week. At a little over 4 spiders a day, I'd say that's a pretty good rate ( Read more... )

Last night, I was using a large broom to sweep up the debris scattered across the concrete garage floor. I scooped up the bigger stuff, leaves, pieces of plastic, chunks of rubber, and a bit of gravel. It was tossed into the garbage can. After receiving a stellar 90-day evaluation at work, I decided it was probably time to spruce up my cube a bit. In it, I only had a single flowering plant (which blooms bright pink and purple flowers on a constant basis and seems to love the flourscent lighting) and a goofy, stress relieving stuffed animal thing that makes kooky noises.
