I suppose it depends upon the size of the chalices; are they 8oz. or 16oz.?
I'm sure a bath in nearly 4 liters of blood shall suffice. After all, that's nearly one grown humans supply...
Although, if we are using tiny 8oz. chalices then we'd best expect the bathwater to be a tinge of pink=/
...
Then again, who cares? Blood is blood in any regard. I'm sure I won't turn into Elizabeth Bathory and demand you sabotage your story in the name of my bloodlust=)
You know, I don't think I've ever seen a 16 oz. wine glass (which I'm imagining corresponds well to "chalice"). Mine range from 4 oz. (I have some pretty tiny ones) to 6 oz. I discovered this because I wanted to know how many "official" glasses of wine (6 oz.) I drink, and discovered that if I filled my largest glass, I'd get one "official" glass. That made me feel better, because I was drinking three small ones - around 3 oz. each. So, we'll figure these are a bit more elaborate, and go with 8 oz. But more than that I think would be rather unweildy.
Anyway, you can't turn into Elizabeth Bathory, because I'm already her ;)

In books, that is. Not in real life...because that would make me a little psycho ;)

Hmm... not sure 9 chalices is really enough to bathe in, but I suppose if you added it to the bath water...
