So yesterday I slept a lot, and today I'm not feeling all that well. I'll probably get a lot of writing in :) And it looks like I did actually manage to get my sleep schedule back onto a more reasonable time frame. But I won't know for sure until tonight ( Read more... )

So, as I sat down to do my usual daily goal of 3,000 words a day (why mess with a good thing, right?), I realized that, since I was starting from 46,138 words that would put me at 49,138. And if I was going to go for 49,138, why the heck shouldn't I write the extra 832 words and get to 50,000? After all, the "official" goal of NaNoWriMo is 50,000 ( Read more... )

Apparently I need to publicly moan and wail and make a fool of myself (if you want to see the ugly, check the post right before this one), then have a scene go incredibly well, then write my goal during the day, then decide, oh, heck, why not go for 30,000...
