So I just came out to my brother a little over an hour ago. He took it well, but now I feel amazingly vulnerable. I now have a lot of unfinished business suddenly -- as in needing to tell the rest of the family. I've lost my momentum though. Ah well. Baby steps. Are you planning to come out to them on this trip or at some other point? Good job on starting this though, it'll happen sooner or later

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend waiting too long to come out to the rest of your family. You probably feel weird because you think your brother might tell them before you're ready? Maybe just do it fast, like a band-aid. Wendy came out at Thanksgiving. :P Just get the whole family in one place, save the time and effort of individual conversations. :)
