    I really like the Dead Kennedys. I like a lot of other music too. I wonder if I choose my favorite artists too casually. People ask who my favorite musicians are, and sometimes I can't name a one. More likely, I can think of favorite bands that dont have like, a lead singer, like Ratatat.        I let slip to one of the teachers I assist that I want to learn the Joyo Kanji by the end of the year. These are a subset of 1945 common ideograms used in Japanese writing, mastery of which is required prior to entry into high school.     It's been a good weekend. I took 8 forms of public transportation yesterday, that is, if you count the taxi. The Japanese Language Proficiency Test application form is only sold in two bookstores in the entire prefecture, you see.
