Quick, before your brain has time to dwell on it, what is the one taste you think of when you think of your childhood?

Mine is pickled red cabbage. Sounds completely random. But I swear that slightly sweet, very sour flavor brings me back to a place that makes me happier than anything else.

So there I am, minding my own business, when I get dispatched to a fight call. It's a typical fight "20-30 juvies fighting." Xavier came to me yesterday and said "Daddy, my wants to be Hannibow Wechter for hawoween." He goes on to tell me that he already has orange pants, and a white shirt, and we can paint his face to have a mask. Did I mention that he's only three? Anyway, I laughed my ass off, and then indulged him.
