I thought over Easter I would post a little catch up on the past month's activities but after being floored by another bout of Neuralgia which came on last weekend and finally succumbing to the cold that ravaged The O during the week, I think it may have to wait.

Good grief! Sat through another Arsenal match tonight in which they created chance after chance but just couldn't find the back of the net. The 1-1 draw against PSV in the Champions League meant they went out on aggregate and now haven't recorded a win in their last five domestic and European cup games. Had my customary day off after staying up to watch Super Bowl XLI between the Chicago Bears and the Indianapolis Colts. The torrential downpours in Miami made it the first ever rainy Super Bowl and put pay to any thoughts of a classic match up as muffed snaps and fumbles abounded with six turnovers in the first half alone.  There were a few ( Read more... )

Just one bit of work needed at the dentist's on Wednesday but it required an injection at right at the back of my jaw that pretty much numbed the left side of my face for most of the day.  So it was all very Phantom Of The Opera until it wore off, only to be replaced by one of those dull throbs that make trying to sleep a mission impossible.  ( Read more... )

Lost my record of escaping The O before 6pm due to being involved in over 5 hours of meetings today which knocked my schedule for a loop.  Tomorrow will be just as disjointed as I've a dental appointment halfway through the morning.
