just another day
i'm still in california. i decided to stay a few more days and take madi to Disneyland. i loaded livejournal on my phone and am only posting this to see if it works. i'll post a real entry anout the trip when i get home unless i have several hours of spare time to update on tjis little keyboard. -
crossing state lines
Madi and I are in Bakersfield for the night and on to Sonora in the morning. Don't try to break in to my house though. I'm not there but other people are. You can't sleep in my bed either because someone is already in it. Maybe next time. -
I want to go, I just don't want anyone else to be there
There's a memorial service for Megan in California this weekend and Madi and I are going. Madi doesn't drive so she's not much of a navigator and when I'm in unfamiliar surroundings I get tunnel vision and can only see as far as the very next second, so I'm following my ex-inlaws the whole way. You know how you meet some people and you're instant friends. You feel like you've known this person forever and you're just reconnecting. When you're happy they rejoice with you and when you're down they instinctively know when to wallow with you and when to tell you to get over it and let's go have some fun. Me: Ummm... let me look.
