and yeah... there are a lot of closed-minded people around here but a majority of people in this area are democrats... our county and our state both casted their electral votes for Kerry, however weak and useless of a canidate he was.

You would've been proud, because today I definitely began a debate in econ with some girl about gay marriage and... I'd like to think I won. It was good natured, but I DEFINITELY had more strong points.
