Things change, people change. It's a shame when old friends become a distant memory...

Yesterday I experienced a moment of clarity. I realized how beautiful everything is. I was sitting in the grass and started to stare and it felt like a movie. The grass was growing, I could see the insects crawling all about and at that moment I felt so free.

If only I could fully explain how I felt, it was so surreal.

Derek was born this morning at 1:01. I have yet to see him because I fell asleep around 3 and they were only allowing one person at a time. He only weighed 2 punds and 6 ounces but the doctor said he is doing fine. It seems like yesterday when I barely knew my brothers wife was pregnant. Wierd.

So I got home from french class today and my mom said that we were going to the hospital because my brother and Melly are going to have the baby early. She isn't due until late June/ early July. I hope the baby doesn't come too early. They have to stay at the hospital until she has the baby. I just hope he is healthy when he is born.

Yesterday was an interesting Easter sunday to say the least. Andrew and Evan were going to shroom for the first time so I agreed to babysit them. Well I wasn't the best babysitter because I ended up drinking a little and I kept messing with Andrew and tripped him out even more. I feel bad but it was pretty funny.

We all want to find that piece of mind. For some of us, it's just harder to discover.

Not sure what i'm doing later on, but I want to go to a St. Patty's day party. I accidently ditched my french class on thrursday because I kinda lost track of time and I was at Andrew's dorm. I ended up staying the night there and we celebrated Evan's (Andrew's friend) birthday. Needless to say it was a pretty fun night.
