Looks like an SKS, 7.62x39mm, probably made in China by Norinco. I've got one like it with the folding assult style stock. When my dad passed in November, I claimed his M-1 tankers carbine in .30 carbine and the M-1 Garand in 7.62x51mm NATO (origanally 30-06, but a bunch were converted in the 50's before the M-14 was adopted). Really exquisite WWII historical pieces in excellent condition. I've got 1000+ rounds of each in stock or on order. All I need now is a small police action or armed insurrection somewhere and I'll be set. Come to Texas, we'll see if we can brass line a ravine floor somewhere in the Hill Country.
Believe it or not I have never really liked guns that much, but a friend of mine is a police officer and I figured if you're going to shoot with anyone, it may as well be a police officer.
We shot, Ruger 9mm, .38 revolver, 12 guage pump action asault shotgun, and the SKS. And oh man, I had a really good time. And weirdly enough, I'm really good at shooting. I couldn't hit anything with the revolver, but I was blasting the hell out everything else with the others.
I would love to check out the WWII pieces. I eat almost anything WWII up. My grandfather was in the ground war in Europe and came back with a P38. He asked me if I wanted to shoot it once and I said no. NO! Can you believe that?
iv been a big fan of akron/family for a while. im pretty sure they are american. i think they just love canada and canadian bands alot. but i did not know about a new album. exciting.
