I don't think you could use lj if you were a true buddhist.
LJ is about gossip, drama, and bullshit. Buddah doesn't have time for all that.

As far as I know, and have read up on, Buddhists are all about clairty and 'living for the now'. As in you cannot possibly know whats going to happen next so you might as well live up the time you have. but,
