I think it is important as a way of understanding how two people can balance each other and work together in a symbiotic way. As I'd commented in polyamory, Deida's view is without creidibility; he's inventing justifications for his own insecurities. Men and women share almost all of their genetics; we are the same species, and of a species remarkable for its *lack* of sexual dimorphism. Anything a man can do, a woman can do, except sire children; anything a woman can do, a man can do -- except bear them. Those are the defining differences, and anything beyond that is a statistical tendency, not a fundamental difference.
