Found your journal at random, had a question for you. hope it doesn't come across as wierd.
I'm interested in the artwork on your chest. Specifically how big it is and how long it took. Once i've got the money i'm planning to get a fairly large job done. I figure i'l spend some time and get it all outlined like you have there, then get it colored over time.
Also, how long ago was that done? Looks fairly fresh, since it hasn't done the green fade that lineart seems to do after a while.
Anyway, thanks and i hope i havn't asked too much :)
well,hm, it's a chest piece, so it spans my whole chest almost armpit to armpit and from the hollow of my throat to the start of my cleavage. i dont have exact measurements, it never crossed my mind. I sat for a 2 1/2 hour session on just the outlining and we've estimated that i have another 2 sessions left. honestly, you shouldn't be paying more then $100 an hour, give or take a few depending on detail and size. If you pay more then $300 for something simmilar in size to mine, then you're getting assfucked.
i've had this since around thanksgiving, so about 2 months. If you take GOOD care of your tattoos they shouldn't fade.
Yeah that's great. I actually plan to have my whole body done. well not the whole thing, but everything that cant be seen while in a dress-shirt and pants. Historically it's called the "japanese working class" tatoo. Unfortunately there's only a few people in canada who can do them the traditional way (done by lightly tapping a wire brush with paint on it), and i live nowhere near either of them.
Given your body size (or what i've seen of it) i dont need exact measurements :) 2.5 hours for that gives me a good estimation. I figure i'm looking at about 20 hours for my Outlining alone. Thanks a bunch!
wow, i was gonna ask you if you photoshopped your eye color because it looks exactly like the color of your hair, but then i felt bad asking you since that guy above me drilled you. hahahaha i love your color though, a lot! and if your eyes are untouched then it definitly brings out the red in them. <3
