i thought for sure the days were over where black girls hated me because i was too light skinned, looked "too white." but i guess that was just me being niave.

in other news, my text books for this semester are going to cost over $500. if it's not one thing, it's A-FUCKING-NOTHER.

i get paid about 150 dollars every two weeks, and i've yet to understand how i'm able to buy myself things every week. there was a 6 month period of my life where i was taking home 500 dollar paychecks every two weeks, and i don't have a DAMN thing to show for it, and here i am making what, for all intensive purposes, could be classified as "chump ( Read more... )
