Well that was a full and varied weekend!

Friday, Kate and I went to the Cocktail and hors d'oeuvre matching thing at Vue De Monde, followed by a drink at the Blue Diamond Bar which has a pretty awesome wrap around city skyline view. We rounded off the night by going to see Voltera at Pony. A fun night indeed.

My Permanent Residency application got approved today!

I am now, pretty much, dinky-di(sp?). Bloody hell it seems like (and has been) AGES since the last Cabs... I'm seriously chomping at the bit here. I'm particularly excited about this one as there will be 2 floors which means we can somewhat bypass one of the usual gripes from the purists at both ends of the musical spectrum, with pure beats downstairs and mostly guitar based stuff up.

Well BDO was pretty damn good. Saw Billy Bragg, Arcade Fire, Bjork and Rage Against The Machine.
