While I'm really having an amazing weekend in Austin, I'm missing Dan, a lot. I can't wait to be in the position where we can have weekend getaways once every few months or so. Being away from the ones who mean the most to you makes you appreciate and love them so much more. Just saying.

After we dropped Dan off at work we went to the baseball fields. Then 3 other mom's showed up with their kids, one after another...Sam and Carson got along fine with them all, minus the 15 min or so that he was NOT sharing anything and had attitude, big time. So...after Carson was born to the Fall of last year I'd lost around 25lbs and then from then to now I've lost 35 more lbs. I'm feeling great. Better than I have since I can remember, which is totally awesome. I work out by walking/jogging 3+ miles every Monday, Wednesday and Friday but my body is getting pretty used to that so now on the other days ( Read more... )

So the weekend is coming to an end, sadly. But it was another great one, for sure! Saturday, I got out of the apartment by myself for a bit to go get some coffee from Starbucks then came back home and we all got ready to go swimming! So this weekend has been so much fun. Saturday, we surprisingly got out the door a little after 8am and walked to the big trail that goes through part of town. We did a total of 3 miles and it felt like nothing! It's half a mile from our apartment to the trail so way easy for me to get to it on my own with the boys and I'm planning on doing the 3 ( Read more... )

So, today sc woke up late...around like 8:15am, I think. It was weird.
