i sit on my rooftop at night, watch cars speed by on the nearby interstate. occasionally there are long stretches of dark during which no cars drive by, and i use these times to think.

last night i realized that i live two very different realities: the one before my eyes and the one behind. i am so tired of the disparity.

I crave freedom, I crave the responsibility of living my own life, making my own choices, being my own man. However, the life that I live right now isn't too bad.
