Being creative can be hard when it's so easy to sit and consume. Reading poetry can be such a bore and writing it even more-so. How can I write about longing and the feel of a tug at the heart when the objet d'affection is lying in bed next to me? A couple times a year I log into my old email account primarily to clear out all the spam. It was stunning to see an email celebrating 17 years of membership to livejournal when I got in there today. I haven't thought of livejournal in a century. Maybe more.

I have had the increasing urge to eat some mushrooms lately. I don't know why, and I don't know how I'll get them. I think it will be very enjoyable.
