Maybe...the emotions you are developing and your experiences are causing you to grow away from what you thought your original purpose was. It happens to humans all the time...we find that the things that we grasp for were never what we wanted in the first place, or they are not what we thought they would be once we reach them. A lot of the time we feel conflict between what we want and what we feel we should want.

This kind of turmoil is said to be part of the human experience, but programs who have emotions also experience these feelings of disillusionment and discontent. This is a sign that your emotions are maturing and developing. And you are not alone, my friend.

*looks at 5ev3n's hand with a mixture of distaste and longing*

The whole thing is simply...a difficult idea to get used to, I imagine. Thinking that perhaps I am somewhat...*grimace* human...after all.

Dealing with emotions is difficult for anyone to get used to. There are a lot of times where I don't know what I'm feeling, the emotions are so jumbled and paradoxcal. Since I'm a little bit like a machine I try to balance them out, like equations, but it just doesn't work that way all the time and it's very distressing.

Let me just say...I understand how you feel.

Now that we're at peace you are free to do whatever and chase after whatever dream you want, Smith..

It's understandable you're nervous.. and going through a lot of anxiety, as the process of finding yourself is a long, arduous one..

Come for a drink at The Twist one night... I have found that copious qualities of alcohol in pleasant company often helps the stomach, mind and soul...
