So I was looking back on past entries... specifically more recent ones... and wow, I was being such a loserface. There was one common denominator related to all my unhappiness, and now that I've eliminated it, I'm a normal human being again. I'm hungover all the time, but a normal human being nonetheless. Why didn't anyone tell me to stop whining?

Today my dad called just to say hi and tell me he loves me. He usually calls to check in, but today he had a specific reason. A technician at the dealership he works at was hit by a car while riding his bike. He wasn't wearing a helmet and he hit is head, hard, and is in the hospital. Change is good... but I look back on the past year and so much has changed. I don't feel like I'm the same person anymore. I don't feel like anyone is, really. I guess thats what happens... we grow up, grow apart, the whole deal. The truth is, it sucks. But what sucks the most is that I don't even like going out anymore... So that last entry I wrote.... no good. I have to stop doing that. Sometimes writing things out makes everything feel better... but I finally hit a wall. The people that live upstairs do not know the difference between "walk" and "stomp". They parade around the apartment as though no one else lives near by, and at all hours of the night too.
