i know exactly where you're coming from, it's so hard to understand sometimes how people in your life can change from being close & intimate souls to distant and often aggravating strangers. but i completely agree with your statement that is it your prerogative to surround yourself with people that you know are important and will always be someone special in your life. relationships come and go, sad to say. the significance is in holding on to the ones that will keep you strong and warm your heart.

Sadly, many good friendships seem to end this way. Long-lasting friendships are desirable, but they are often taken for granted. It takes a great deal of patience and work from both parties in order for a great friendship to last. Over time, one may find that the relationship that once was so easy and effortless just isn't worth it anymore. It happens to all of us; it's just one of those unspoken rites of adulthood ( ... )

Hey Ry! Thanks for the reflection of this situation. This is definitely just something I have to go through... Its just so difficult because as you know, my friends and I have been friends for 8 or 9+ years and to have this sort of change in my daily routine is just ultimately a shock to my system. It is rather difficult to go forth with mutual relationships where me and my ex-friend intertwine, but as you said, 'sometimes you have no choice'.

ugh.

Work is good. How are you by the way!? I miss ya!

(I wrote a much longer response and as I tried to post the comment, there was an error!! GRRR. So this comment is more condensed and I am sure I left out a lot more of what I wanted to write you!).. anyway, loveya!
