i've been looking at buying a film scanner. not going to get one here of course, since the voltage here is different and i don't want to risk frying the device when i plug it into the 240. so anyway, it's sounds really interesting to have a film scanner...all the 35mm digitalized....knowing the lazy bum i am, this had better not be some one-off fad

and you can always get a step up transformer for your scanner. it should work fine. i used to have one for my gamecube (US version) and no, it didnt get fried...
