Slacking
Had to head back to the office yesterday to finish some work. Part of all that work that my boss piled on me...it's nice to know that he trusts me with so many (quite unrelated) things, but I'm finding it quite difficult to work on everything thoroughly. interesting reality shows they have here. was watching Obsessed again and there was this teenage girl who can't seem to get near raw vegetables and meat for fear of contamination, so she eats processed food and drinks soda (fear of invisible contaminants in the water). it's kind of dumb, cause she can color her whole head red and not be afraid of ( Read more... ) -

the weather is getting colder. it was actually cold when i stepped out of the office just now. not sure if it's because summer is coming to an end or it's just the rainy weather. can probably start to take out the remaining scarves that i didn't bring back. -

i'm so damm lazy...just shoved the 4-5 day old pile of dishes and used pot/pans into the dishwasher. don't see how i can live without a dishwasher back home. i had this urge to make myself a margarita but then i'm trying to avoid drinking on weekdays. after work each day i'm just so tired that i stone in the apartment watching tv. most of the time ( Read more... ) -

i'm going to take a look at the new target store that is opening in harlem today. it's probably going to be crowded, but who cares. just had the last portion of curry chicken noodles for brunch.

watching Obsessed on tv now....some reality series about people with OCD. today's episode is about this girl who has an obsession with order, tidiness and cleaniness. well it's because she uses cleaning to mask her other emotions (about her mother or something). well the thing i can't understand is, how does this work? as in....she's obsessed with ( Read more... ) -

i've been looking at buying a film scanner. not going to get one here of course, since the voltage here is different and i don't want to risk frying the device when i plug it into the 240. so anyway, it's sounds really interesting to have a film scanner...all the 35mm digitalized....knowing the lazy bum i am, this had better not be some one-off fad ( Read more... ) -

i'm becoming an alcoholic. just because the booze here is cheaper. i shall keep my drinking to the apartment when i'm alone. excluding the drink sessions with my colleagues. those are necessary for work. i'm now crazy over film photography...color, black/white and now instant film. doesn't mean i need to always use the film camera, but it's ( Read more... ) -

met the guys (maybe girls) at zion rd for dinner and sat down at mc cafe to chill after that. the food was great. anyway i'm still jet lagged. thought it was over when monday was quite alright, after a night out at zirca on sunday. decided to take a short nap at around 3pm today and only woke up at 645pm when chris called my mobile. so now i'm wide ( Read more... )
