Having lived in Florida my entire life, I can tell you that if you hate hot weather and despise summer, this is not the place for you. And there are bridges everywhere. You can't go anywhere in the state without going over a bunch of bridges. To get to Key West, you either have to go by bridge, by air, or by boat. There's no other way to get there.

I understand the compulsion to just pack up and move. On a family trip to Seattle during high school, I was suddenly hit with the realization that Seattle was where I was supposed to be. Almost 11 years later, that feeling still hasn't gone away.

Come down and visit Key West. It will either convince you that its truly where you are meant to be, or that its just a nice place to vacation.

My friend has a huge fear of bridges as well. She refuses to buy a car with power windows because she thinks they'll short out if she drives off a bridge.

Bridges make me completely claustrophobic. Elevators don't usually but bridges do. Its bizarre and completely irrational. I don't care for deep water in general,even at the swimming pool,for example. I just don't like it. It completely freaks me out. I know how to swim, and it isn't a general fear of water,just deep water.
