A summarized update:
My niece checked herself into rehab after her second OD so a bit of gold news there. She has a long way to go, but it is a start I had serious doubts she would take.

We went to Disneyworld to celebrate our second anniversary. Noah got killer military discounts.

Been busy. My son will be two in a couple weeks. Still waiting on the Navy. In March, my family carried out my parents' final wishes and scattered their ashes at sea. Pretty proud of my son. I'm just going to give a quick update and dump pics. Last time I posted was earlyish September. Xander turned one. He dressed as a monkey and Noah as an organ grinder for Halloween. We were just informed by his local friend that Kevin passed away this evening.

His father found him passed out over the weekend with blood in his mouth and was unable to wake him. He's in the hospital comatose. They are unsure how much brain damage he suffered or how long he was unconscious. The nurse also says his organs are trying to shut down, so it seems unlikely he will make it.
