[1] Are you pro-choice or pro-life? I'm pro-choice because I don't think that anyone should be allowed to make the decision for another woman as to whether or not she should be allowed to have an abortion.

I've never found that to be terribly compelling, even though I'm a member of the ACLU and pro-choice. I mean, we as a society make the decision for other people that they aren't allowed to commit murder, right? So abortion in my mind is only okay so long as it can be established that isn't murder and that as a human rights issue (and I don't think of it as a civil rights issue) the birth would be of greater detriment to the mother than to the unborn fetus, which for all anatomical purposes, shouldn't be awarded normal human rights.

Making the decision to not let me murder my neighbour doesn't contradict my rights, whereas making the decision to not let me pull myself out of a potential health/social/whatever crisis totally does. So I totally agree with you on that note.

My comment towards the poster was simply directed towards the fact that so many dumb people on here go on about "WELL WAT IF SHE GETZ RAPPED IN A ALLEY IM PRO CHOICE YA!!!11!!!" without appearing even close to sane. I applaud her down-to-earth answer, is all.

I didn't like/agree with some answers.
On a side note I think you'll make a fantastic writer: "I want people to be able to relate to what I write and connect with the characters on a level that only a few authors offer."
